Russian's Team Building at Pro Karts

Last Thursday we were the proud hosts of the Russian Rugby Team for a Bathurst team building event.

Obviously a very competitive group of guys, they started off pretty quiet, but it wasn't long before they were right into it, competing in teams of three for a much wanted 1st place.

With nail-biting intensity, the race came down to the wire after 120 laps, with Evgeny Mateev (flanker), Alexander Shakirov (half back), and Alexey Makovetskiy (second five) taking out the win, proud to leave with a trophy, and of course the right to brag!

The group of players, coach and entourage were all extremely friendly, expressing their love and enjoyment of their tour, and the people of New Zealand. At the end of the race, the english speakers were quick to say how much they had enjoyed their event at Pro Karts.

Since the event, we have recieved positive feedback from Kath at the Nelson City Council, thanking us and saying "I heard they had a wonderful time and really enjoyed it!"

It was great to see them put up an awesome preformance against Australia on Saturday afternoon, going home after their final game having done themselves proud. Well Done Russia!!

Pro Karts Grand Prix race packages

Great for the individual racer, keen on taking out the field in this championship style race.

All drivers are briefed on the rules and race format before undergoing their practice. Practice hard, because afterwards is your first heat where you will gain points for your finishing position. Heat 2 is your 2nd chance to gain as many points as possible to get you through to the Grand Final, which only the top 8 drivers will compete in. 

Pressure...

At the end of racing, the overall winner is presented with a trophy, and of course, gains all the bragging rights.
